OBJECTIVE
Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is looking to hire experienced Flight Attendants to help us elevate the customer service experience on board our flights. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND FUNCTIONS
• Must successfully pass the 3 weeks of initial new hire training
• Fulfills directives from the lead flight attendant.
• Serves all customers in a professional and efficient manner.
• Represents Global Airlines brand with the utmost integrity and professionalism.
• Required to meet and maintain company standards and regulations for attendance, personal grooming, and appearance while in uniform, or on company property.
• Will attend preflight briefings and conduct preflight checks to include but not limited to: Preflight all emergency equipment, check required aircraft supplies, confirm catering, check general aircraft condition and cleanliness, check lavatories for cleanliness and FAA regulation.
• Adapt to perform a variety of duties and perform effectively under stress.
• Explain and demonstrate the use of safety equipment and procedures and enforce all safety regulations as appropriate.
• Prepare the aircraft for passengers, greet passengers, verify boarding tickets, and seat assignments, assist with carry-on baggage stowage and security, as well as prepare and serve meals and beverages.
• Will always have an uncompromising dedication to safety while maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Must be available and ready to work when on a reserve schedule, to include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• May be required to travel away from base for long periods of time.
• Always maintain a positive attitude while on duty.
• Perform other duties related to safety and compliance not in description.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform all duties with the highest possible degree of safety.
• Maintain their Flight Attendant Manual to the current revision status.
• Keep their issued FAM and QRH accessible while assigned as an active crewmember.
• Ensure passengers seated in exit seats meet the selection criteria established in the approved Exit Seating Program.
• Ensure compliance with the approved carry-on baggage program.
• Manage crew and passengers in any onboard event, including medical emergencies, security threats and other difficult situations.
• Protect the integrity of the flight deck.
• Provide leadership, direction, and assistance to passengers during normal, non-normal, and emergency situations.
• Read, interpret, and demonstrate safety briefings to passengers.
• Comply with all Company and regulatory security and safety procedures.
• Notify the Captain and Manager of Operations Control Center (OCC) when aware that they will exceed duty time limitations before the completion of all of his/her assigned flights for the day.
• Provide a professional image, including a neat and well-groomed appearance.
• Complete all applicable training courses satisfactorily.
• Provide high quality passenger service to passengers and individual needs.
